The Minister of Happiness joined forces with the Ministry of Education to raise awareness on bullying in schools. The Minister of Happiness decided to visit schools with the highest number of bullying cases, and gave a session on the topic. This session was complemented and supported by backed up by a series of storytelling videos on social media that highlights the violent behavior of a bully.
No one is born a bully, but one can be raised to become one. The way the parents treat their children at home brings out this behavior. We came up with a split screen video that illustrates a happy family vs a broken family. The video was shared by more than 1,200 people on Facebook.
We divided our efforts in two phases: Recognizing the behavior and resolving it Recognize: A video showcasing the contrasting difference between a happy and healthy family vs. a broken family and how it impacts the child’s behavior. Resolve: Created a video about bullying from a group of childrens’ perspective.
